WHO ARE THE GATECRASHERS? |

With a zany sense of humour and fine musical talent, The Gatecrashers are well experienced at putting people at ease whilst encouraging audience participation. This makes them ideal entertainment for your event. Whether you are hosting a youth, Adult or Senior event, this music & comedy duo have a wealth of experience at performing to all age groups. Majority of the songs performed are songs written by The Gatecrashers and carry a message of hope without being 'overtly' Christian. Andy & John also perform some 'cover versions' of well known songs to get their audience relaxed and singing along. With 'off the cuff' humour, spontaneous chat and confident stage presence, The Gatecrashers will provide an enjoyable performance at any event, from a guest slot to a full blown concert, that your guests will remember. |

Andy & John have both been Christians for 30+ years and have been friends since those early days. They formed the duo in the early '80's having played together in other bands. They played as semi-professional musicians for about 7 years in the late '80's early '90's including various Spring Harvest sites, festivals and a one year tour in Denmark. 1992 both got married and The Gatecrashers season came to a close...or so it seemed. In September 2008 the duo were asked to perform once more at a fund-raising event at the Brewhouse Theatre in Burton. The concert was a sell out and the Gatecrashers were back in the business of entertaining, performing at the Burton Alpha Supper Event to around 100 guests just one week later. John and Andy have since written another 12 songs and have a well balanced set which includes humour, audience interaction and thought provoking content, while experimenting with different styles of music and percussion.
